Podcast Cover Art - Episode Banner Art
American Innovations is a podcast about science, technology and history. They are one of my favorites and I thought their cover needed a little update. In an effort to choose a completely different style than what they had I created three different approaches. One that was more photographic driven, one that was more type driven and one that was more abstract.
To bring the project together I wanted to also create an episode banner. I chose to use the one about DeLorean and wanted to really grab some inspiration from the vehicle itself.
Keeping the DeLorean in mind while I created the banner ad I abstracted the elements to their most basic forms. Applying color effects that were consistent with the cover art I feel like it brought both pieces together.
